Updates 17/12/2015Yayasan Nanyang Press regrets to announce the death of Ng See Thiank early today. Yayasan Nanyang started to collect funds for the late Ng See Thiank in November 2014 (total collected funds RM16,324)and has given RM400 every month to him as living expenses since then. The balance of his collected funds now is RM 11,524. As the late Ng See Thiank is an unmarried man and has no relatives, thus Yayasan Nanyang Press decided to give the balance of his collected funds to his adopted daughter for the purpose of arranging his funeral.
Updates 20/3/2018南洋报业基金从2014年10月12日开始帮John Bosco筹募生活费，感谢热心人士的热烈响应，南洋报业基金共筹得了RM29，760.19。 因此南洋报业基金从2014年10月开始每个月依据受惠者的需求把善款陆续转到他的个人户口直到2017年11月筹获的善款用完为止。 在援助了John Bosco 一家的生活费3年后，受惠者女儿告知基金协调员暂且停止为他们一家筹募生活费。因此南洋报业基金已于11月汇完余款后正式停止为此个案筹款。
Updates 18/9/2016来自吉打的张妮君不幸患上末期肾衰竭，去年还因细胞坏死而被逼锯掉右手。 南洋报业基金自2014年为她筹款至今，善款已不足以应付往后的生活费，谨此希望善心人士能慷慨解囊，让她的孩子能完成学业，以后回馈社会。 Chong Nee Chuin was diagnosed with end stage renal failure since year 2014. Yayasan Nanyang Press has been collecting funds for her, however, due to the rising cost of living, the funds have been insufficient for her future usage.
Update: 2 December 2015Lim Siew Chin suffered from arthritis on both hands few years ago. Besides that, she also has hypertension and diabetes. Yayasan Nanyang Press started to raise funds for Lim Siew Chin since 2013 and collected RM 36,320.00. Besides supporting her medical cost, Yayasan Nanyang Press also gives her RM 250 every month as living expenses. Recently, doctor found that cataracts were developing in both of her eyes, and she needs to undergo surgeries for both eyes.
